Project Graduation costs much more than is charged and fundraising and community support will make up the difference in cost. Project Graduation is held on Graduation Night, Thursday, June 9, 2022.
Cost of the event is TBD. Payment is NON_REFUNDABLE UNLESS IN THE EVENT OF A STATEWIDE SHUTDOWN. PLEASE MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: WMC Project Graduation
Given the circumstances of Covid19 and the time it has taken to plan this event to ensure a safe environment for the students, we don’t have much time to commit to the venue. In order to move forward with this event, we will need a commitment of at least 150 students by February 26th otherwise, we will need to cancel our contract.
NO SENIOR WILL BE LEFT BEHIND DUE TO FINANCIAL RESTRICTIONS. A limited number of scholarships will be available thanks to generous donations made by senior parents and some specific organizations. If there are particular financial difficulties, please let one of the committee chairs know and we will contact you. This information will remain confidential.
Venue Details – Historically, Project Graduation has been kept a secret but this year, we want to build up the excitement and give the kids something to look forward to! Given the times of Covid19, we feel it necessary to reveal the location as well as provide you with the cautionary measures we and the venue are taking to ensure a safe venue and night for our graduates.
In the event of a state shutdown, our deposit is 100% refundable and we will be able to refund those who have sent in their checks to participate.
We need a minimum of 150 students to commit to attending prior to February 26th in order to cover the expense of Project Graduation.
Once we sign the contract, our deposit is NOT refundable (unless in the event of a Statewide Shutdown) AND we will be responsible for covering the cost of the event.
No refunds will be issued unless in the event of a Statewide Shutdown.
CHAPERONES NEEDED FOR PROJECT GRADUATION We are looking for 12-15 chaperones to attend Project Graduation on the eve of June 10th. Chaperones will ride on the buses, be a watchful eye during the evening, but not hover; be available to the students if they need assistance with lost items, food issues, etc., as well as help chaperone in the waterpark and arcade. If you have haven’t volunteered yet this year, this is a great opportunity to show your support. If you are interested in Chaperoning, send us an email at email@example.com or you can sign up on the registration form. Thank you!
