About Project Graduation
West Morris Central High School Project Graduation is part of a nationwide effort to provide graduating seniors with a fun, safe, and inclusive place to celebrate their last night together as high school students.  All WMCHS Seniors who qualify to “walk” in the graduation ceremony are invited to attend.

This event is our community’s gift to the graduating seniors.  It cannot be done without the help of fundraisers and community donors.  The party is planned, organized and paid for by parents and local businesses.  No monetary support is received from the West Morris Central High School District.

A Night to Remember
Our graduating seniors receive a memorable night of events, music, games, food and prizes.  A location is secured and only our graduates and chaperones are allowed in!  Parents receive the peace of mind knowing that their seniors are celebrating in a safe and secure environment.  This is a party WMC students have looked forward to and will fondly remember for many years.

The Role of Our Community
Parents are invited to participate in and assist with Project Graduation.  Many parents volunteer to organize and run fundraisers.  Local businesses have been instrumental in the success of the fundraising efforts.  Some offer discounts to Project Graduation Supporters and some make generous monetary tax-deductible donations.

How You Can Help
We understand that everyone has busy schedules, but if each of us contributes a little, together we can achieve a great deal. Here are some ways you can make a meaningful difference:
  • Volunteer to run a fundraiser.  Before you say no - inquire.  You might be surprised.  Many of these fundraisers are simple and most have been done before.
  • Assist with a fundraiser. Even a small commitment of time can provide much needed support.
  • Make a monetary donation. Every contribution helps sustain this tradition.
  • Encourage your business or employer to contribute through financial support, goods, or services.
  • Attend and participate in fundraising events. Your presence matters.
  • Make phone calls to vendors for pricing or event participation.
  • Support local businesses that give back to Project Graduation.
  • Spread the word. Share posts on social media or simply pass along information to senior parents who may not be online.

If you can give 1 hour or 10 hours this year, we could really use your help!

In addition, some fundraising tasks may be completed by our seniors, a wonderful way for them to earn service or volunteer hours.
